about

The object was to remix the opening title music for the independent film "Shifty". The original track a meditative piece consisting of only acoustic guitar and an occasional keyboard melody. I used the guitar part as-is and wrote parts for flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, alto sax, trumpet and percussion. At the time of this contest I was friends with a lot of excellent local musicians who came in to record these parts.
