I used only the vocal track from Raheem DeVaughn's "I Don't Care". I edited the vocal part so that the lyrics were completely different and turned this R&B number into a 1970s metal song called "I Hate You".
From my original blurb about the remix in 2010:
"The views expressed in this song do not reflect those of Mr. DeVaughn or myself. In fact, this is the first time I've ever been offended by my own work."
