At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to enter this contest. I knew that there would be far more submissions than in previous contests (there ended up being over 3000) and I had no experience in creating hip hop remixes. I finally decided that if I was going to enter, the only way to have my work listened to was to make a version of Snoop Dogg's "That Tree" that was as far away from the original as possible. I settled on creating a Snoop Dogg Pirate Song: "I Can't Forget the Sea".
As before, I kept only the lead vocal and replaced everything else.
It was well received by some and hated by others, but it came in 3rd in the contest.

Coming to this band kind of late. This is the third Cardiacs album I have bought and the best: unrelenting punk energy, creative, irreverent, funny, epic, occasionally funky. One of the only albums that makes me smile ear to ear.
